Meet Mory Fontanez

I’m Mory, Author, intuition Coach, Podcast host and founder of Eight22 Group, a transformation consultancy. So many of us seem to have difficulty identifying our truth and thus, our purpose in life, leading us to feel a lack of fulfillment. I believe that reconnecting with our purpose begins with something vulnerable and often neglected: our intuition.

My purpose is to guide people back to their intuition so they can reclaim their power, reach their fullest potential, and contribute to society in positive ways.

I’m the daughter of Iranian immigrants who left their country just as the current, oppressive regime was taking power. Being raised by a single, working class mother meant I had a childhood full of uncertainties. So to fight that, I spent my life working tirelessly to climb the corporate ladder, and make my life certain (I thought).

I spent close to twenty years managing crisis and global strategy for Fortune 500 companies and public personalities. As I guided clients through crises of all kinds - splits, mergers, and public relations issues - I found myself disillusioned with our current culture and ultimately, the system that allowed toxicity to flourish within us.

“Instead of seek our truth, we’ve been taught to conform to a culture of external validation, choosing fear over inner wisdom and scarcity over abundance. It was by understanding our systematic disconnect from purpose that I found my own.

In 2018 I founded 822 Group with the aim of realigning leaders with their untapped potentials. In doing this work, I began to see a deep desire from people around the world for a deeper connection to purpose and to their intuitive wisdom. In response, I developed a method for overcoming our own limiting belief systems as a pathway to building a deep and consistent connection to intuition, and ultimately, our purpose. I believe that now is a time for healing. Now is a time for rediscovering our intuition, a time for locating our higher purpose, a time for reclaiming ourselves so that we can create authentic connection and meaningful change.”
